What Makes Us Different??? Nothing Really....

We’re not here to say we’re “the best” — there are a lot of incredibly talented woodworkers in our region, and we’re proud to support many of them through our woodworking supply business, M2 Lumber.

What does set us apart is our unique combination of craftsmanship and technical expertise. With a background in engineering and manufacturing, we bring a deep understanding of material science and structural design to every project. This means we don’t just build beautiful furniture — we build pieces that are structurally sound, highly functional, and designed to last for generations.

One of the most meaningful services we offer is our Tree to Table process: we can take your own tree — whether it’s from your backyard or a property full of memories — and transform it into a truly personal piece of furniture. From milling and kiln drying to design and fabrication, we handle the entire journey in-house.

OMG...Look what they're saying about us!

(We're Here to Help)

Below is a list of some of the most common wood species that are readily available in the Appalachians that are suitable hardwoods for most furniture builds. This is by no means an extensive list of all the options, but it is a good place to start to understand the variations.

Maple close-up

Maple (Hard & Soft)

White Oak close-up

White Oak

Description: Timeless hardwood with light–medium brown tones and strong, straight grain.
