Nikko, Japanese meaning for Sunlight, is the inspiration for this table design, hence the name. This table design has many features that remind us of a traditional Japanese style while incorporating elements of flare designed to resemble the suns rays peaking through clouds during a sunset. If you pair this table design with white oak material you might even catch some Modulary Rays (so called because they resemble sun-rays at times) in the quarter-sawn grain pattern.
